Storm of Sorrow

Igneous: "Marble Pie, at last it is nigh time that thou consult the choosing stone, just as thy kin before thou have.

Marble: "Hm?" (thinking) "The choosing stone?"

Igneous: "Yes. Surely thou recall the sacred tradition of old, passed down in thy family?"

Marble: "Mhmm!" (thinking) "That means..."

Marble: *squeals gleefully* (thinking) "My chosen one is Big Mac!  This is the happiest day of my life!"

Cloudy: "Well? Shalt thou seek out thy betrothed and tell him thou art destined to be?

Marble: "Mhmm!" *sighs blissfully*

(Marble goes to Sweet Apple Acres in search of Big Mac)

Marble: *knocks on the farmhouse door*

Applejack: "Ah'm comin'!" *opens the door* "Oh! Marble Pie! What brings you 'round these parts?"

Marble: *blushes and hides behind her hair*

Applejack: "Yer lookin' fer Big Mac, ain't ya?"

Marble: *nods*

Applejack: "He's buckin' apples in the west orchards! Ah'm sure he'll be mighty glad to see ya!"

Marble: "Mhmm!" *blushes and smiles*

(Marble walks out to the edges of Sweet Apple Acres and finds Big Mac with a mare and a small colt)

Big Mac: "Marble Pie! Lovely to see y'all!"

Marble: *blushes* "Mhmm!" 

Cheerilee: "Big Mac, who is this? An old friend?"

Big Mac: "Eeyup!"

Cheerilee: "Wonderful to meet you! Any friend of Big Mac is sure to be somepony special! Discovery, say hello."

Discovery: *hides behind his mother*

Big Mac: "Marble, Ah'd like you to meet mah wife, Cheerilee, and our son Discovery." *holds Cheerilee's hoof*

Marble: "W...wife?"

Big Mac: "Eeyup." *chuckles* "Betcha never thought you'd see me finally married with a foal, and another one on the way...By the way, how're things 'round yer parts?"

Marble: *tears up and starts shaking*

Big Mac: "...Marble? Y'all right?"

(Thunder rumbles as stormclouds advance in the distance)

Discovery: *whimpers and hides more*

Cheerilee: "We really should get inside..."

Big Mac: "Marble? It's okay, the barn's over there?"

Marble: "I...I..." *turns and runs away, tears flowing freely*

Big Mac: "Wait, Miss! *starts going after her*

Cheerilee: *grabs his hoof* "I think it's best we let her go, Big Mac. The storm is getting really bad."

Big Mac: "Eeyup..."
